Don't wonder, Rufus, how not one woman wants to place beneath you a tender thigh, not if you would undermine her with a gift of exquisite clothing or the delights of translucent stones. A certain bad rumor is hurting you which says a savage billy goat is said to be living in the valley under your arm. All fear him, and no wonder, for it is a very bad beast, nor would a pretty girl lie with him. Wherefore, either kill the cruel affliction of noses or cease to wonder why they flee.
